My promo code will not work / Discount does not show?
If you have a promo code, use it during check out at the Festival Annual online shop at www.festivalannual.com/shop

If you are having problems getting the discount to register, make sure you do the following (see image below):

(1) Enter your promo code in this box (NOTE: promo codes are CASE SENSITIVE)
(2) Make sure you click 'Apply Changes' so that the code registers

Once you've done this, the discount will show. If you continue to have problems please feel free to contact us at info (at) festivalannual.com

Do I need a PayPal account to buy the book from you?
No, you do not need a PayPal account. We use PayPal to process the payments, but you can order without creating a PayPal account (all you need is your credit/debit card details).

During checkout, when you get to the first PayPal screen, on the left hand side there is an option to simply pay directly with your card details (see below image).

If you select this option it will simply allow you to process your order without having to create a PayPal order.

How do I complete a placed/pending order (I've ordered, but not made payment yet)?
If you received an e-mail with a link to your order which is pending payment, please click on the link. Otherwise go to www.festivalannual.com/shop and log in.

1. Go to 'Your Account'
2. Click on 'Order History'
3. Click on 'Complete Payment'
4. Click on 'Make Payment'

Please note that you can use a credit, debit, Switch or Maestro card on the left side of the page, or a PayPal account on the right side of the page.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit, debit, Switch or Maestro card. Payments are handled by PayPal, however you do not need a PayPal account to order.

When will my order be despatched?
Due to the current high volume of orders, your order will be despatched 1-3 working days from when the order is received. Orders to mainland UK are sent via courier.

What is Festival Annual?
It is the first ever user-generated book on the UK festival season. It's not about the music or even the bands that play. It's about the people that go to the festivals and will feature photos and stories from festival goers all over... documenting their experiences and festival moments through photographs and stories.

What is the book like?
Festival Annual 09 is a book to treasure, made from the memories of this summer's festivals. It's going to be a lush, 312 page, hard back book - a qulaity, snapshot of this year's festival season like never seen before. How can I get into the book?
The book is now finished and printed, so unfortunately no more photos or names can be included in the published book, however you can still submit your festival photos online at http://myspace.com/festivalannual.

Will my name really be printed in the book?
If you uploaded and tagged or commented on or before the 17th September 2009, then you're name has been published in the book. Any that were received after 17th September unfortunately haven't made it in time (as the book has now been printed).

Will my photo be in the book?
The best and most popular photos that were uploaded and tagged on or before 17th September 2009 have been included in the book.

What is the Fan Photo Award / UK Festival Awards?
The UK Festival Awards is basically the Oscars for the festival world. This year the UK Festival Awards will take place at Indigo2 in the dome, London on 19th November.

Festival Annual and the UK Festival Awards have teamed up for the "Festival Fan Photo Award". Every photo uploaded and tagged will be entered automatically to be considered for the Fan Photo Award shortlist, and new submissions can be made up until 14th October (photos can be submitted as normal).

How do I submit photos to you?
To submit photos simply follow the following 3 steps:
1. Add Festival Annual (www.myspace.com/festivalannual) as a friend on MySpace
2. Upload your festival photos to your MySpace profile
3. Use the tagging function to tag Festival Annual in your photo(s)

Why do I need to upload and tag my photos?
You need to upload and tag your photos so that we can see them (if you don't, there's no way of us being able to see them to include in the book or on our profile page/galleries).

Can I have a say in the Fan Photo Award / UK Festival Awards?
We will be announcing a shortlist for the Fan Photo Award on 16th October. Once announced you'll have the chance to let the judges know which you think should win, plus also have the chance to win tickets to the awards themselves!

I can't upload my photos?
You need to upload your photos to your own MySpace user profile (and then tag 'Festival Annual' in your photos)

I've tagged my photos but they're not showing in the Festival Annual gallery?
Once you've tagged Festival Annual in your photos they will appear in our MySpace account as tagged and awaiting approval. They will show in our galleries once we have approved the tags. (We check them very regularly, so drop us a line via MySpace if you can't see them soon after tagging)
